DevOps Trading Application Support Engineer

• Monitor and support trading infrastructure across multiple exchanges and markets

• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments

• Develop and maintain automation tools using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages

• Build monitoring systems, dashboards, and alerting infrastructure

• Diagnose and resolve networking, application, and operating system issues in production environments

• Analyze logs and packet captures to troubleshoot trading and connectivity issues

• Collaborate with developers and traders to support new trading initiatives and infrastructure requirements

• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices

• Document infrastructure, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows

Prestigious Financials Firm is currently seeking a Junior DevOps Trading Application Support Engineer. Candidate will work closely with developers, traders, and infrastructure teams to maintain highly available production systems, improve deployment processes, automate operational tasks, and assist with onboarding new trading initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically curious, comfortable working under pressure, and enjoys solving difficult infrastructure and production issues., * 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or Trade Support

• Strong administration and troubleshooting skills

• Experience supporting Windows & Linux Server environments

• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking

• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across infrastructure and applications

• Comfortable working in high-pressure production environments

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Database Sql experience

• Ability to work on-site

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting low-latency or high-performance trading systems

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and alerting systems

• Exposure to co-location or on-prem data center environments

• Familiarity with JSON, XML, or Parquet data formats

• Experience analyzing packet captures and order event streams
