SAP Data Migration Consultant

The client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP Data Migration Consultant to support data migration activities from legacy non-SAP systems into an SAP S/4HANA environment., The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing ETL jobs and supporting the end-to-end data migration lifecycle., Data Migration & ETL

Develop and execute ETL jobs for migrating business data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.

Design and develop FMD and technical designs for data migration.

Guide the team in developing ETL jobs, workflows, dataflows, and error-handling processes.

Work with migration objects including:

o Business Partners

o Vendors

o Customers

o Materials

o GL Balances

o Open Purchase Orders

o Sales Orders

o Cross-references between objects

Analyze and document inter-object dependencies to establish an efficient data-load sequence.

Implement data validation and reconciliation processes.

Generate pre-load validation files and post-load reconciliation reports.

Perform data quality analysis and data cleansing.

Manage data migration defects and fallouts.

Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate remediation efforts.

SAP Migration Technologies

Work with SAP Migration Cockpit, including:

o LTMC

o LTMOM

Utilize SAP data-loading technologies including:

o IDocs

o BAPIs

o LSMW

Support mock load cycles, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and cutover execution.

Participate throughout all phases of the data migration project.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate across workstreams and business teams.

Report progress on:

o ETL Jobs

o FMD

o Technical Design

o Data Migration activities

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data migration issues.

Support project milestones, testing, deployment, and production cutover activities., Database / SQL

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, The ideal candidate will have experience working on 2 3 SAP Data Migration projects, strong hands-on expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), and experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration. Retail industry experience is highly important., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience working on 2 3 SAP Data Migration projects.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) 4.x or higher.

Strong experience developing ETL jobs, workflows, and dataflows.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration.

Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM).

Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and LSMW.

Strong knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, data quality, and data cleansing.

Experience analyzing inter-object dependencies and developing logical data-load sequences.

Experience troubleshooting data migration errors and managing data fallouts.

Strong SQL and database skills.

Excellent analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills., Secret Security Clearance preferred.

Retail industry experience strongly preferred.

Experience working across multiple SAP S/4HANA workstreams.

Experience in data design / data designer responsibilities.

Experience with complex enterprise data migration programs., The strongest candidate will be an SAP Data Migration Consultant with:
