Job description

  1. Ivalua Platform Development
  2. Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions on the Ivalua Procurement platform.
  3. Build scalable workflows, business rules, forms, approval processes, and automation capabilities.
  4. Configure sourcing, supplier, pricing, and procurement modules aligned with business requirements.
  5. Develop reusable components and technical frameworks to support enterprise sourcing capabilities.
  6. Ensure solutions adhere to Client’s architecture, security, and engineering standards.
  7. Unified Sourcing Platform Delivery

Lead development activities supporting Client’s strategic sourcing transformation, including:

  • Unified end-to-end sourcing workflows
  • Supplier negotiation automation
  • Pricing lifecycle management
  • Procurement workflow automation
  • Integration of sourcing through purchase order execution
  • Elimination of manual touchpoints across the sourcing process
  • Core Initiative Delivery

Develop and implement capabilities supporting:

Integrated Price List (IPL / Pricemaster)

  • Price list automation
  • Pricing validation
  • Supplier pricing synchronization
  • Automated price updates
  • Master pricing management

RPU (Request Price Update) Automation

  • Automated price change workflows
  • Supplier request processing
  • Approval automation
  • Exception handling
  • Business rule implementation

Ship-to Rerouting

  • Automated ship-to location determination
  • Routing rule configuration
  • Logistics workflow integration
  • Procurement execution optimization
  1. Integration Development
  2. Develop integrations between Ivalua and enterprise platforms including ERP, procurement, supplier, finance, and logistics systems.
  3. Build REST APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations.
  4. Design secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions.
  5. Support real-time and batch data synchronization.
  6. Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize data flows.
  7. Software Engineering
  8. Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable application code.
  9. Perform code reviews and adhere to software engineering best practices.
  10. Create technical specifications and design documentation.
  11. Implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
  12. Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
  13. Optimize application performance and reliability.
  14. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  15. Support production deployments and hypercare activities.
  16. Investigate and resolve production defects and system issues.
  17. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
  18. Monitor application health and performance.
  19. Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
  20. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  21. Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Sourcing, Product Management, and Architecture teams.
  22. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  23. Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.

Success Metrics

  • Successful delivery of Client’s Unified Sourcing Platform roadmap.
  • On-time implementation of Integrated Price List (IPL/Pricemaster) automation.
  • Successful deployment of RPU Automation workflows.
  • Delivery of Ship-to Rerouting capabilities with minimal manual intervention.
  • Measurable improvement in Purchase Order (PO) Automation Rate.
  • Reduction in manual sourcing and procurement activities.
  • High application availability and production stability.
  • Timely resolution of production defects and support issues.
  • Delivery of secure, scalable, and maintainable software aligned with enterprise engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Ivalua platform development and configuration experience.
  • Strong experience developing procurement and sourcing applications.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with ERP and procurement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills., * Experience implementing Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and pricing processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or other procurement platforms.
  • Experience with cloud integration technologies and middleware.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow automation.
  • Ivalua certification is preferred.
