Job description
As an Expert GEOINT Lead Integrator, you will lead enterprise systems integration efforts spanning the full engineering lifecycle, from architecture development and requirements analysis through integration, testing, and transition to operations. Serving as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders, you will guide modernization initiatives, champion Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, and ensure mission capabilities are effectively integrated across NGA and partner organizations. Your leadership will directly influence the future of the GEOINT enterprise and its ability to deliver operational success., * Lead enterprise-wide systems integration initiatives across NGA Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and Mission Partners.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor on integration strategy, enterprise architecture, and modernization efforts.
- Lead high-visibility integration projects from concept development through Transition to Operations (TTO).
- Develop and assess future-state enterprise architectures and modernization roadmaps.
- Conduct architecture gap analyses, trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), and Courses of Action (COAs).
- Ensure traceability among requirements, architectures, interfaces, and system capabilities.
- Translate mission and customer needs into actionable technical requirements and integrated solutions.
- Drive adoption of Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Develop CONOPS, integrated project plans, engineering documentation, and target-state architectures.
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams supporting GEOINT modernization initiatives.
- Improve systems integration processes using Agile methodologies, Digital Engineering, AI, and industry best practices.
- Participate in governance, configuration management, and risk management activities.
- Ensure enterprise documentation remains synchronized across engineering baselines.
- Mentor engineers and integrators while fostering technical excellence and growth.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in:
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Management Information Systems
- Other STEM discipline
- 18+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 18+ years of experience leading:
- Systems engineering
- Systems integration
- Enterprise architecture
- Technical analysis efforts across the full system lifecycle
- Extensive experience:
- Designing complex enterprise and IT systems
- Analyzing and documenting technical architectures
- Integrating large-scale systems and capabilities
- Expert-level knowledge of:
- DoD acquisition processes
- Intelligence Community acquisition processes
- Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
- Demonstrated success leading:
- Large-scale engineering initiatives
- Cross-organizational integration efforts
- Enterprise transformation activities
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the GEOINT Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) Architecture.
- Experience supporting:
- National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)
- Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG)
- National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) environments
- Knowledge of enterprise modernization initiatives, including:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Multi-Cloud architectures
- Edge Computing technologies
- Experience with:
- Digital Engineering methodologies
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and processes
- Enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience using Agile collaboration and project management tools, including:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification(s).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to:
- Present technical concepts to executive-level stakeholders
- Influence strategic decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Build strong customer relationships
- Lead multi-agency Integrated Project Teams
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
