Job description

  • Supervise electrical installation teams on data center construction sites, managing daily operations to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software
  • Review construction drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among all team members
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including heavyBid estimates and pipeline management, ensuring timely delivery for ongoing work
  • Oversee quality control processes, including testing with tools such as ohmmeters, to verify electrical system integrity and compliance with specifications
  • Lead crew management efforts by supervising team performance, managing labor resources efficiently, and fostering a collaborative work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction management within commercial or data center environments, with strong supervisory skills in managing teams in a construction setting
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems installation, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction drawing review
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and management software like ProCore or Bluebeam,Etc
  • Hands-on experience with construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and conduct quality control inspections using appropriate testing equipment like ohmmeters
  • Strong communication skills for managerial coordination, managing contracts, and supervising crews effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, project scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all construction regulations
  • Construction site experience specifically related to heavy electrical work in data centers or commercial projects is highly preferred
