Solutions Engineer

We’re partnering with our client, a global health organization, to find a Solutions Engineer for their remote team. This role offers an exciting consulting opportunity with the potential for permanent placement. It involves high-level solution architecture and requires strong communication skills to collaborate effectively.

Solutions Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and identify technical solutions leveraging Hortonworks platform expertise.
• Collaborate with development teams to articulate solution requirements and frameworks.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of big data architecture and best practices.
• Support the implementation of Hadoop distributions and related solutions.

• Proven experience working with Hortonworks HDP 2.6 through at least 3.0.
• Strong background in big data environments and architecture.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills using PowerPoint or Vizio.
• Exceptional communication abilities to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Relevant experience in solution design, with a focus on data systems.
