Job description
Serve as a Software Engineer
Oversee the build and configuration of our software on government-owned hardware
Serve as command center for build and configure operations for edge computing devices
Provide technical and administrative management:
- Own the build schedule
- Ensure technical and procedural steps are executed correctly
- Track and report progress across concurrent work streams
- Keep stakeholders aligned across government, vendor, and engineering teams
- Liaise day-to-day with government and contract officials in the lab.
Train new personnel on lab processes and procedures as the team grows
Deliver training across desk-side, classroom, and 1:1 settings to analysts and operators
Support incoming technical requests from US Navy personnel and coordinate related response, support, and training as needed.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field) preferred
Strong technical background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
Strong experience coordinating technical work across multiple teams and stakeholders
Experience with edge HW deployment/government HW build and configure operations
Technical fluency in areas such as Python, SQL, or Spark
- Sufficient to understand platform behavior and engage credibly with engineers
Military or prior government service background preferred
Familiarity with enterprise software is highly preferred
- Foundry and/or Gotham
Required: Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
