Data Architect - Contract - Remote

Seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, SQL Server/Oracle, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT, and Snowflake., * Design enterprise data architecture, data models, schemas, and data flows.

• Design and optimize databases, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop data integration solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Leverage Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and analytics.
• Establish data governance, quality, security, metadata, and data dictionary standards.
• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data architecture meets performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend modern cloud and data technologies.

• 5+ years of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Database Design.
• 5+ years with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS.
• 5+ years with Azure and/or AWS.
• 5+ years with ETL/ELT, APIs, and data integration.
• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and integration skills.
• Experience with data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, SSIS, Informatica, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, REST APIs, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Python, Power BI/Tableau.

$55 - $65 an hour - Contract
