Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect specializing in Sanity CMS to join our innovative team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-level content management solutions utilizing Sanity CMS, a flexible headless content platform. If you are passionate about cloud architecture, system design, and cutting-edge web development, this position is your chance to make a significant impact., * Lead the end-to-end architecture design for Sanity CMS integrations within complex enterprise ecosystems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including developers, product managers, and stakeholders-to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solution architectures.
  • Develop comprehensive system architecture diagrams using UML and other modeling tools to visualize integrations, workflows, and data flows.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to enable efficient content delivery across multiple platforms.
  • Drive cloud-based deployment strategies utilizing cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Establish best practices for DevOps automation including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Oversee application integration efforts involving various technologies like JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Ember.js), ASP.NET, WCF, Weblogic, JBoss, WebSphere, and others to ensure seamless interoperability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on content management systems like Sanity CMS or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles including cloud infrastructure design on AWS or Azure.
  • Extensive knowledge of system design for distributed systems and scalable architectures employing microservices and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Perl, and Java; experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Ember.js, Bootstrap; back-end development using.NET or Java frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB), SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), and RESTful API development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git/SVN for version control and automation processes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise solutions implementation including API management (Web services), security protocols (HTTPS), identity & access management.
  • Ability to gather requirements effectively through requirements management practices and translate them into technical solutions aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
