Senior System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of complex RF and microwave measurement systems supporting applications across aerospace, defense, satellite communications, wireless technology, and related industries.

This is a high-impact engineering role for a technical leader who can translate customer needs into clear system requirements, develop cost-effective technical solutions, and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams through the complete system lifecycle., * Understand customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive system specifications and technical solutions.

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the design and delivery of complex microwave measurement systems.
• Identify and select microwave equipment and components to meet customer and market requirements.
• Identify, select, and characterize RF components to satisfy system-level performance requirements.
• Develop system-level cable diagrams, bills of material, and related engineering documentation.
• Analyze RF equipment configurations and system architectures to verify performance and compliance with requirements.
• Develop system-level test procedures and acceptance criteria to validate performance.
• Perform system checkout, integration, and RF performance testing.
• Lead system validation, error determination, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.
• Coordinate technical activities with customers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support factory integration, testing, system commissioning, and customer-site implementation.
• Prepare RF system user documentation, technical manuals, and related deliverables.
• Conduct system installation, customer training, and technical support as required.
• Contribute to proposals, customer presentations, technical discussions, and solution development.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in RF/microwave systems, systems engineering, customer engagement, and technical leadership, along with the ability to work effectively across engineering, business, and customer-facing functions., * 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience in RF/microwave system design and engineering.
• Experience developing, interpreting, and managing technical specifications and system requirements.
• Solid understanding of microwave communications and RF/microwave measurement techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with systems engineering processes and complex system development.
• Ability to analyze diverse RF/microwave measurement specifications and translate them into practical system designs.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design and positioning-system considerations as they relate to complex RF/microwave systems.
• Experience designing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex technical systems.
• Experience with proposals, customer interaction, systems design, and technical analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines and functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to develop optimized technical solutions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and eligibility to access export-controlled information and source code, as required by applicable programs and regulations.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally., * Strong background in microwave and antenna design.
• Experience with MATLAB, GRASP, HFSS, or comparable industry analysis and simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of antenna test ranges.
• Knowledge of mechanical positioning systems and their integration with RF/microwave measurement systems., * Do you have 10+ years of relevant engineering experience?
