Job description
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join a Contract assignment supporting multiple project-based technology initiatives. This role focuses on preparing and deploying end-user hardware, resolving desktop and application issues, and providing dependable technical assistance across healthcare and office environments.
Responsibilities:

Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops and workstation equipment for scheduled refresh and rollout initiatives.

Deliver onsite technical support for desktop hardware, Windows 10 systems, Microsoft Office 365, and commonly used business applications.

Troubleshoot issues involving PCs, peripherals, software installations, and network connectivity to keep users productive.

Support healthcare-related applications and tools while ensuring devices are properly set up for operational use.

Travel to assigned project locations throughout Minneapolis area facilities, clinics, and nearby sites, remaining at each location until project work is completed.

Provide user assistance through remote support methods for virtual employees and offsite staff.

Manage workstation setup tasks such as account-related support within Active Directory and basic device readiness activities.

Assist with office moves, device replacements, and migration-related technical work as part of broader desktop support projects.
Requirements
Requirements * At least 5 years of experience in desktop support, workstation deployment, or hands-on technical support roles.

Strong knowledge of PC hardware, desktop troubleshooting, and general workstation support best practices.

Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications in a detail-oriented environment.

Working knowledge of Active Directory and user support in a networked enterprise setting.

Ability to diagnose software, connectivity, and device-related issues efficiently and accurately.

Willingness and ability to drive to assigned work locations as project needs require.

Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
