Job description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Appian Lead Developer to lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications and automation solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep Appian expertise with strong enterprise architecture, cloud, integration, security, and automation capabilities.
This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define technical strategy, establish architecture standards, modernize applications, and deliver scalable, secure, and highly reliable solutions., * Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using the Appian platform.
- Define solution and enterprise architecture strategies, technology roadmaps, governance standards, and modernization initiatives.
- Lead enterprise application integration and intelligent automation initiatives across the organization.
- Design scalable APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, and enterprise web/mobile solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Mentor and coach developers and technical teams while establishing development best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with executives, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, performance engineering, monitoring, observability, and production reliability.
- Ensure solutions follow secure development practices, IAM standards, application/API security requirements, and Secure SDLC principles.
- Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML and intelligent automation capabilities where appropriate.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.
- Establish architecture documentation, technical standards, and governance processes.

Benefits & conditions
$60 - $75 an hour - Contract
