Lead IT PM

This large local utility client is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on revenue billing and accounting processes. This project aims to improve the visibility and accuracy of unbilled revenue, ensuring the business can better understand customer usage between billing cycles and properly account for outstanding revenue. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong IT Project Management experience and a solid understanding of revenue accounting principles. They will serve as the bridge between Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams to drive project execution and deliver business value.

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience delivering finance, billing, or revenue-related projects.
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience working directly with Accounting and Finance stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with large scale budget management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Utility industry experience.
• SAP, billing, or ERP project experience.
• CPA, Accounting degree, or prior accounting background. Experience with revenue recognition, unbilled revenue, or usage-based billing processes.
