Experteer Overview In this role, you design and implement physical-layer algorithms for low-power wireless products within the Wireless Systems Group. You collaborate across RF/Analog, Digital, Validation, and Software teams to bring up and validate test chips and SoCs. You will tackle complex signaling problems, simulate systems, and optimize performance to support cross-functional hardware and software development. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with RF/Analog, Digital, Validation, and Software teams to bring up and debug test chips and SoCs * Simulate communication systems and participate in digital block design * Design and simulate the physical layer of wireless systems * Develop system models for performance evaluation and design trade-offs * Create module specifications with RF/Analog and Digital teams and implement algorithms * Document design and test plans and bring up communications systems in lab * Test and troubleshoot wireless systems and test chips/SoCs * Perform additional duties as assigned Tasks * Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of wireless PHY design experience * Strong background in signal processing and communication theory * Experience in MATLAB, C/C++ and fixed-point/cycle-true programming and simulation * Experience in Modem and digital front-end block design * Experience in IC design, RFIC calibration and testing * Experience in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth PHY layer knowledge is advantageous * Team player with ability to resolve technical and scheduling issues; potential for team leadership Key requirements * health benefits from day one * retirement savings plan * restricted stock units (RSUs) * quarterly bonus payments * employee stock purchase program (ESPP) with 2-year lookback * competitive base pay
