Senior Data Platform Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you design and operate a scalable, secure data platform powering Workforce Analytics. You’ll ensure governed, high-quality data consumption in Snowflake and own the Posit (RStudio) environment for data scientists. You collaborate across Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Integration to keep data trusted and easily usable. You’ll help shape secure access, governance, and reproducible analytics at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design and mature secure Snowflake data access patterns for analysts, applications, and AI/ML tools * Implement and evolve RBAC and policy-based access models with least-privilege scoping * Ensure secure handling of PII and sensitive workforce data; collaborate on auditability and compliance * Own and optimize the Snowflake platform for performance, compute strategy, and cost management * Lead Posit (RStudio) platform ownership for secure, performant analytics development and integration with Snowflake * Productionize pipelines with Coalesce.io and improve modular, reusable transformation logic * Strengthen data quality checks and data lineage to ensure reliability of headcount, attrition, and recruiting data * Build CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps / GitHub and support multi-environment deployment Tasks * 5+ years in data engineering or data platform engineering * Deep experience with Snowflake, performance tuning, and access control * Strong SQL and experience with complex data systems * Experience with data transformation tools (Coalesce.io, dbt, or similar) * Experience designing data access and security models * Experience supporting or working with R / Posit (RStudio) environments Key requirements * competitive salary * paid vacation/holidays/sick time * comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision * on the job/cross training opportunities * encouraging and collaborative team environment * dedication to safety through Zero Harm policy
