Senior Software Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will support the Risk Engineering team to quantify and manage real-time risk for clients and the firm. You’ll help build scalable cloud-native systems and efficient interfaces for internal and external users, partnering with product, operations, and compliance. You will translate requirements into technical designs and collaborate across tech and business teams. This is an opportunity to shape risk infrastructure used in high-volume capital markets and work with a modern stack. Compensation / Benefits * Implement efficient user-interfaces for internal and external users * Architect new backend services and storage layers for risk-based metrics * Collect and break down requirements to produce technical designs * Collaborate with other tech teams, as well as business, operations, and compliance team members Tasks * 5+ years of experience building scalable backend services in a statically-typed language (Go / Java) * BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar * Experience building efficient UIs with Typescript and React * Strong communication to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, product managers, and engineers * Eagerness to explore new technologies and master the tech stack Key requirements * base salary range $170,000 - $250,000 * company equity * 401k matching * parental leave * medical, dental and vision insurance * lunch stipends
