Solution Architect

Our client, a prominent public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a major compliance improvement and digital transformation programme.

The organisation is undertaking a strategic initiative to improve how statutory compliance is managed, evidenced and reported across multiple operational and corporate functions. As part of this programme, a Digital Solutions Project has been established to identify and assess future technology solutions that will enhance compliance management, reporting, auditability and assurance.

An experienced Solution Architect is required to lead the technical assessment of future-state solution options and provide independent recommendations to support investment, procurement and business case decisions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and validate business and technical requirements.
• Assess the current application, systems and technology landscape.
• Evaluate existing and future integration requirements.
• Define and document target-state architecture options.
• Assess solution approaches against agreed evaluation criteria.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects and technical SMEs.
• Produce a formal options appraisal and recommendation.
• Support future procurement and business case development activities.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

• High-Level Target Architecture
• Procurement Evaluation Framework

• Solution Options Paper

• Comprehensive assessment of solution options
• Recommended approach with supporting rationale
• Suitable for presentation to executive stakeholders

Executive Presentation outlining findings and recommendations

• Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture
• Digital transformation and systems architecture
• Systems selection and options appraisal
• Integration architecture and application landscapes
• Procurement support and technology evaluations
• Developing architecture recommendations and target-state designs
• Stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams
• Public sector environments
