Job description

GEOGRAPH is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our team. You’ll participate in project planning and estimation, execute data migrations and transformations, deliver project outputs using ArcGIS Pro and enterprise geodatabases, support our CrescentLink software, and create and maintain technical documentation. This role requires both technical depth and collaborative skills to work with clients and teams on quality geospatial solutions., * Participate in project work effort estimation meetings to assess customer requirements, evaluate available capabilities, and estimate the work effort needed

  • Migrate and transform geospatial data between systems (ETL pipelines, format conversions)
  • Develop and deliver project outputs (ArcGIS Pro maps, geodatabases, reports) with emphasis on data quality and documentation consistency
  • Provide daily technical support for CrescentLink software extensions to ArcGIS
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support articles (How-to, Problem, Error, and FAQ) as needed
  • Occasionally test beta releases of ArcGIS and CrescentLink software

Requirements

  • 3+ years of GIS or geospatial data analysis experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro / ESRI product suite, including geoprocessing tools for data migration workflows
  • Python or scripting experience for automation and data processing
  • SQL and database querying skills
  • ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase experience:
  • Branch and traditional versioning
  • Replication for distributed editing
  • Schema creation and manipulation

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with CrescentLink software (ArcGIS Pro extension)
  • Experience with fiber/telecom network data
  • ArcGIS Enterprise administration and data management:
  • Feature services publishing and management
  • Web maps and Experience Builder apps
  • Data Stores configuration
  • Portal content management and sharing
  • General ArcGIS Enterprise system setup and maintenance
  • FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) experience
  • Openness to adopting modern productivity tools and emerging technologies to enhance workflow efficiency, Selected candidates must be able to pass a drug screening and background check as a condition of employment.
