Design Engineer

Roles of this type could involve delivering mechanical, electrical or controls design solutions within a regulated, quality-driven engineering environment, supporting the delivery of products built to ISO 9001 standards., * Contributing to mechanical, electrical or controls design from concept through to delivery

• Producing design documentation, drawings and specifications in line with ISO 9001 standards
• Supporting design reviews and sign-off processes across engineering disciplines
• Collaborating with manufacturing, quality and project teams to ensure designs meet requirements
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges during design phases
• Maintaining design records and supporting continuous improvement within the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or equivalent)
• Practical experience in product design, design engineering or a related discipline
• Competency with CAD software and design documentation standards
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to technical specifications
• Collaborative approach to cross-functional problem-solving
