Job description

You will be our first dedicated engineer, working directly with the founder (who also codes daily). You will own the full stack: public-facing Next.js pages, internal admin tooling, API routes, database design, and AI agent integrations. A significant portion of your work will involve building and maintaining AI automation pipelines using Claude SDK, MCP servers, and custom skills/knowledge bases.

This is not a “prompt engineering” role. You will write production TypeScript, design database schemas, build React components, and architect agent workflows that run unattended.

What You Will Do Build and maintain our Next.js 15 application (App Router, Server Components, API routes) Design and implement Prisma database schemas and migrations for new features Build AI agent pipelines using Claude SDK, MCP servers, and custom tool definitions Create internal admin tools for customer management, onboarding, and analytics Implement customer-facing features: GEO audit portal, citation tracking, reporting dashboards Write API integrations (Stripe, Apollo, Google APIs, DigitalOcean) Optimize for performance (Core Web Vitals, PageSpeed 85+) Write tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and maintain CI/CD pipelines Ship production code daily. We deploy to DigitalOcean App Platform via GitHub Actions

Requirements

3-7 years of full-stack experience with TypeScript and React Deep knowledge of Next.js (App Router, Server Components, API routes, middleware) Production experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM (Prisma strongly preferred) Experience building and consuming REST APIs Comfort with AI/LLM integration (Claude API, OpenAI API, or similar) Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or willingness to learn fast Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and shipping fast without breaking things Experience with cloud deployment (DigitalOcean, AWS, or Vercel)

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $58 - $68 per hour

A bit about us:

Help shape how the world finds businesses in an AI-first future.

We work alongside major players in AI and cloud computing, including NVIDIA, Anthropic, AWS, and Google, and our partner roster keeps growing.

Search behavior is changing fast. People are turning to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity instead of typing queries into a traditional search bar. That shift means brands need a completely different playbook to stay visible and credible in these new environments.

We built a platform that evaluates, tunes, and continuously tracks how companies show up across today’s leading AI models. Think of it as the emerging discipline of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), a category we’re actively defining, not a rehash of conventional SEO.

If you want to work on complex, interesting problems at the edge of AI technology and help write the playbook for how search works next, we want to talk to you.

Why join us?

  • Exciting work with leading brands and complex challenges
  • Equity
  • Part of a rapidly growing startup environment
  • Advancement opportunities and exposure to the CTO
