Job description
Crown Staffing is seeking a Temporary Compounding Operations Technician to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment in Winchester, KY. This hands-on role involves operating compounding equipment, monitoring process conditions, completing production documentation, and supporting quality and safety standards., * Operate compounding process equipment, including tanks, piping, and utilities
- Monitor process conditions and adjust parameters to support production requirements
- Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and production documentation
- Add chemicals and additives based on calculations and process instructions
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues as they arise
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas
- Identify, report, and respond to quality or safety concerns
- Stop production when a critical safety or quality issue is identified
- Assist with SOP reviews and updates as assigned
- Support training of new or developing team members when needed
- Communicate production metrics and collaborate with internal teams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, This position is ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures., * High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to complete documentation accurately
- Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Experience with plastics, compounding processes, or manufacturing systems preferred
Work Environment
- On-site presence required for all scheduled shifts
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Occasional work in a shared control-room office setting
