Job description

Lead Fullstack (React/.NET) Engineer/Architect (with banking experience) Edison, NJ Our client is a Middlesex County financial organization that is searching for a Lead fullstack .NET architect/engineer with a prior background in financial services. Our client proudly offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where technology teams are recognized with the value they deserve. Fulltime position–client is unable to consider any candidate in need of work visa transfer or sponsorship (now or in the future). Onsite 3x a week., * Lead, architect and develop financial solutions using React, AWS and other modern scripting languages, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with governance standards. This role has a strong front end emphasis.

  • Leverage AWS services for application development, including database management, serverless computing, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Architect and implement microservices using GraphQL and REST, adhering to modern microservices principles.
  • Design, build, and test scalable APIs and platform services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Act as primary liaison with the API management vendor.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality cloud-native services.
  • Define and promote governance best practices for secure and efficient API development across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software design and development.
  • 4+ years in a Technical Lead/Application Architect role within a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of API management platforms (e.g., WSO2, REST and GraphQL)
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven expertise in scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to deliver robust software solutions.
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in the following: .NET, AWS (Serverless services), CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SAML, OAuth, OpenID.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Expertise in one or more wealth management disciplines, such as portfolio management and trading, client advisory services, or modern corporate finance practices.
  • REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
