We are seeking a strong Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade distributed software solutions. In this role, you will tackle complex architectural challenges, developing highly scalable backend systems that power VOIP-based call processing, CTI, intelligent call routing, and compliance recording systems. You will act as a technical leader, mentoring junior developers and actively shaping our technology strategy to drive business value through modern engineering practices.

What You Will Do:

Architecture & Development:

  • Design, build, and optimize robust distributed microservice applications to ensure highly scalable backend performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain both RESTful and GraphQL services to support complex business capabilities and high-volume data querying.
  • Analyze, revise, and document challenges in existing system logic to continuously improve system reliability and reduce technical debt.
  • Provide technical direction and execute strategic decisions encompassing information architecture, software design, analytics, and instrumentation.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Mentor and guide team members, participate in code reviews, and foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to define technology strategy, standards, and roadmaps, effectively addressing gaps between functional goals and existing capabilities.
  • Drive technical decisions on software development projects, estimate project scope, and create comprehensive documentation.
  • Partner seamlessly across technical disciplines, including web and mobile app development, to ensure cohesive service integration.

Engineering Excellence:

  • Champion AI-assisted coding workflows and automation techniques to efficiently divide large problem statements and enforce structural architecture practices.
  • Adhere to and advocate for best practices in code development, version control, continuous integration/delivery, and test/build automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of strong, hands-on programming experience, including deep expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Springboot.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and managing distributed microservice architectures.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing API ecosystems (RESTful and GraphQL) and event-driven architectures using messaging systems like NATS.IO and Apache Kafka.
  • Solid practical experience with concurrency and multi-threading to optimize application performance and responsiveness.
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, for deploying web services into clusters.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to established software design patterns to complex engineering challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI coding workflows to streamline development (proficiency in modern development environments such as Kiro IDE is highly preferred).
  • Experience in business process management and decision models, including Camunda BPMN.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with IVR technologies (including voice-to-XML conversion technology, VXML, CCXML, SCXML, and the RIVR framework) to create and optimize effective IVR systems.
