Job description

  • Perform board-level reliability testing and functional validation of electronic and semiconductor products.
  • Conduct Physical Failure Analysis (PFA), CSAM/SAM analysis, and X-ray inspection.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing to evaluate product reliability.
  • Analyze failures, identify root causes, and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Debug and improve laboratory test setups, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Work with oscilloscopes, multimeters, curve tracers, and other laboratory instruments.
  • Support laboratory maintenance, equipment calibration, and materials control.
  • Document test procedures, findings, and reliability data using Microsoft Office.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Requirements

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer with hands-on experience in board-level reliability testing, electronic validation, and failure analysis for semiconductor products. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of VLSI board design and experience using laboratory testing and failure-analysis equipment., * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in electronics reliability, functional testing, or failure analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of VLSI Board Design - Mandatory.
  • Experience in board-level reliability testing and electronic validation.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Physical Failure Analysis (PFA)
  • CSAM/SAM or C-Scan Acoustic Microscopy
  • X-ray inspection
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Electrical and mechanical testing
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, curve tracers, and related laboratory equipment.
  • Experience working in Windows, Linux, and CentOS environments.
  • Knowledge of test automation and scripting.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good technical documentation and reporting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience working with GPU, Tegra, or high-performance server systems.
  • Experience maintaining laboratory infrastructure, equipment, and calibration records.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be available to work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
  • Must have hands-on VLSI board design experience.
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $70.00 per hour
