Job description
This position is being recruited in anticipation of a contract award. The Data & AI Analytics Lead provides technical leadership for enterprise reporting, data management, business intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics capabilities supporting the Department of War Education (DoWEA) Education Platform modernization initiative. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing data solutions that enable informed decision-making, improve operational visibility, and support enterprise analytics across instructional and business systems., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using modern business intelligence platforms.
- Define and implement data architecture, governance frameworks, master data management strategies, and data quality processes.
- Develop AI-ready data pipelines and analytics capabilities supporting enterprise decision-making and mission outcomes.
- Design and optimize data models, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and Government stakeholders to integrate instructional, operational, and administrative data sources.
- Establish data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with Federal standards.
- Provide technical leadership for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Support the development of dashboards, metrics, reporting frameworks, and analytical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies and recommend solutions to improve enterprise capabilities.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Applicants selected for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Government background investigation and all applicable security requirements., * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting enterprise analytics initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the Department of War Education (DoWEA).
- Experience implementing enterprise business intelligence, reporting, and data integration solutions.
- Experience developing data governance and analytics strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
