Job description
This is a full stack position with a Back End lean - you’ll be working across the stack in Next.js and React, but spending more time on the APIs, databases, and Back End services that power everything behind the scenes.
You’ll be:
- Building and maintaining features across the stack, with a focus on Back End logic and APIs
- Working closely with senior engineers to turn requirements into shipped features
- Building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and Back End services
- Helping keep applications performant, secure, and accessible
- Getting stuck into code reviews as part of a collaborative team
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ professional software development experience
- Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Comfortable across the full stack, with a Back End leaning
- Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of SSR/SSG
- SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
- Some cloud exposure (AWS preferred) and Docker
- Solid grasp of web fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
Nice to have: Go/C# Back End experience, microservices, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, OAuth/JWT/SSO.
