Job description

  • Assist in the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of load balancing solutions to optimize resource utilization across the network.
  • Manage Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to ensure secure remote access for users.

  • Assist in the integration of APIs for enhanced functionality within the network environment.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. Role will require driving 3 to 4 days a week, and visiting clients.

In this role, you will assist in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of network protocols and technologies, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the field., * Basic knowledge of network engineering principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with load balancing techniques and their application within a network environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of VPN technologies and their configuration is a plus.
  • Proficient in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and PKI.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking issues effectively using analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated on industry trends is essential.
