AI / ML Engineer (Generative AI)

Support the technical design of secure architectures, reusable technical patterns, and functional AI prototypes. Evaluate third-party artificial intelligence products, tools, and vendor platforms to determine feasibility. Build operational reporting dashboards to track AI system performance, cloud adoption, and risk indicators. Coordinate validation, approval, and compliance reviews for government-level AI use cases. Assist public sector agency teams in identifying business automation opportunities and assessing security risks. Code and test generative AI applications utilizing prompt engineering, RAG, and cloud services.

2 or more years of experience with generative AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot. Proficiency in designing and implementing AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions. Experience with integrating cloud-native AI capabilities across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience in establishing proof-of-concept success criteria, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor AI adoption costs and risks. Experience in utilizing AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate software testing, development, and debugging. Experience with neural network architectures, transformer models, and natural language processing pipelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills., Deliver technical briefings, system documentation, and strategic knowledge-transfer sessions for leadership stakeholders.
