Experteer Overview As an Infrastructure Architect for database and storage at Cambia, you will shape the architectural vision for high-availability data platforms across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You’ll lead efforts to ensure data integrity, robust encryption, and resilient disaster recovery while embedding observability and telemetry across the stack. You’ll collaborate with enterprise architecture and cross-functional teams to align standards, roadmaps, and governance with business goals. This role offers the chance to influence critical health-insurance infrastructure and drive reliable, secure data services at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead architectural vision for resilient database and storage infrastructure across multiple product teams and deployment environments (cloud-native, on-premises, hybrid) * Design and own comprehensive database and storage solutions including transactional design, encryption, backup, and disaster recovery with defined RTO/RPO * Establish enterprise standards for resiliency, replication, cyber recovery, and DR integration * Embed observability and telemetry for real-time visibility into platform health and performance * Ensure security and regulatory compliance through encryption, RBAC, auditing, and coordination with Information Security * Develop capacity planning and forecasting for storage, compute, and networking resources * Create and maintain reference architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and modernization efforts * Maintain technology roadmaps, monitor industry trends, and evaluate emerging technologies for continued relevance and scalability * Engage with Enterprise Architecture for governance, design reviews, and strategy alignment * Accurately estimate resources and timelines, audit project status, and maintain data integrity and reliability during delivery Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering or related field * 7+ years in IT with 2+ years of technical leadership and architecture experience * 3+ years evaluating business requirements and designing complete systems solutions in complex environments * Strong understanding of health insurance technologies and regulations (experience preferred) * Experience with architecture frameworks (Archimate, TOGAF) and complex systems integration Key requirements * Medical, dental and vision coverage * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Parental leave up to 12 weeks * Wellness programs * Employee assistance and commute/parking benefits
