Platform Engineer

Experience with AWS, Linux, infrastructure automation, Terraform/Ansible, Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), Glue, and monitoring frameworks. A minimum of 6 years of system engineering or similar professional experience. Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred, but not required) in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or relevant field. Extensive experience with the research existing and emerging technologies, design, architect, and implement complex IT solutions across heterogeneous environments. Demonstrated experience with multiple hardware and software environments and complex enterprise environments. Must have experience leading multiple projects through the Software Development process or SDLC. Experience in organizing the development effort of a systems solution. Demonstrated hands-on experience in multiple industries and across several disciplines. Experience with a variety of hardware platforms including mainframes, x86 distributed platforms, desktops, servers, networks, and mobile devices.
