Job description

We’re looking for a creative and ambitious Junior UX / UI Designer to join the product team in our thriving vehicle telematics business. The role is based from our telematics head office at Arden Square, Crewe.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or have already gained some commercial experience, we’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate your design capabilities through a portfolio of UX and UI work. We’re looking for individuals with a passion for creating great user experiences and a desire to develop their career within a collaborative product environment.

Working alongside Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts and a variety of stakeholders, you’ll play an important role in designing innovative telematics products used by businesses worldwide.

What you will be doing…

With the support of our Product Director and the rest of the team, your role will include:

  • Supporting user research, customer interviews, workshops and usability testing
  • Creating user flows, wireframes and information architecture
  • Designing interfaces for web and mobile applications; building prototypes in Figma
  • Contributing to design systems
  • Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers
  • Using customer feedback and data to improve experiences
  • Supporting design reviews and developer handovers

  • Experience using Figma (or similar design tools) for wireframing, visual design and prototyping
  • Solid understanding of UX and UI design principles

  • Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
