Job description
Metricell is looking for a confident and proactive Project Manager to deliver software and technology projects for our international customers.
Working as part of our international Project Management team, you’ll coordinate colleagues across the business, manage customer relationships and keep projects moving from initial planning through to successful delivery.
This is a hands-on role for someone who communicates clearly, takes ownership and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing projects from initiation through to delivery.
- Agreeing project scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and keeping everyone aligned.
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Providing clear updates on progress, budgets, risks and dependencies.
- Identifying potential issues early and driving them through to resolution.
- Leading project meetings, workshops and customer reviews.
- Maintaining accurate project plans, reports and documentation.
- Ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations and agreed quality standards.
- Capturing lessons learned and helping improve how we deliver projects.
Requirements
- Experience managing projects within software, technology, telecoms or a related industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership.
- A collaborative and adaptable working style.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Good general IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- The ability to meet the requirements for UK security clearance, including having lived in the UK for the required period.
It would be an advantage if you have
- A PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or another recognised project management qualification.
- Experience delivering software, SaaS or telecoms projects.
- Knowledge of agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery methods.
- Experience working with international customers or teams.
- A degree or equivalent professional experience.
