Job description
You’ll ensure Outage Planning teams and external stakeholders have access to accurate, timely and high-quality insights and reporting. This includes coordinating performance reporting across the current year and long-term (10-year) plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting interfaces with other business units. A key focus of the role is driving continuous improvement, particularly through data quality, automation and digital innovation to support Net Zero ambitions., * Provide insight and reporting to support planning teams and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and maintain consistent performance reporting across short- and long-term timescales.
- Identify and highlight risks, opportunities and performance issues using KPIs.
- Develop and maintain high data quality across planning systems and tools.
- Innovate through automation, AI and improved data management to streamline processes.
- Produce external reporting for Ofgem, and DESNZ where required.
- Support maintenance planning analysis and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with planning, connections and commissioning teams using consistent data.
- Support and coach junior team members in day-to-day activities.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Power BI and Python; experience with SQL and Power Automate is desirable.
- Ability to analyse core system data and deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights.
- Experience in performance data trending and analysis, with the ability to influence stakeholders through evidence-based insights.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, business performance and reporting obligations.
- Working knowledge of planning processes, asset/work management systems and prioritisation frameworks (Cost/Risk/Performance).
- Subject matter expertise in the Maintenance Compliance Framework and its application (desirable).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, adaptable and an effective communicator, able to respond positively to change.
