Job description

Start your cyber security career in a role where you can make a real difference. As a Graduate IT Security & Compliance Analyst, you’ll help protect systems, support recognised security standards, and build valuable skills alongside experienced professionals., The Graduate IT Security & Compliance Analyst role is designed for someone who wants to develop their career across cyber security, information security, compliance, and risk. You’ll receive support from experienced colleagues while gaining hands-on exposure to security tools, audits, vulnerabilities, access controls, and recognised frameworks including ISO 27001 and TISAX. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. Instead, you’ll have room to learn, take ownership and grow into a critically important security and compliance professional.

  • Monitor security patches, alerts and vulnerabilities across approximately 800 devices.
  • Support ISO 27001, TISAX, Cyber Essentials Plus and GDPR compliance.
  • Review access controls, onboarding and offboarding processes to strengthen security.
  • Coordinate phishing simulations, security awareness training and compliance audits.
  • Investigate security concerns, firewall activity and reported vulnerabilities with specialist partners.
  • Prepare security reports, risk updates and compliance dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Cyber Security or Computer Science with relevant knowledge (via projects or modules).
  • Working knowledge of cyber security principles and information security.
  • An understanding of ISO 27001 or information security management systems (ISMS).
  • Strong analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • A full UK driving licence, due to the location of the site.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of TISAX, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus, or risk management.
  • Exposure to security tools, vulnerability management or compliance processes.
