Job description
Seneca Resources is hiring a Windows and Linux Systems Administrator to support a critical Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network and secure enclaves for a federal defense client in San Diego. This is a fully onsite role where you will play a key part in maintaining secure infrastructure, hardening systems to federal standards, and contributing to the design and engineering of new capabilities in a classified environment.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- IAT Level II certification required: Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP
- 3+ years of experience administering Windows 11 systems
- 3+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
- Proficiency developing and executing PowerShell and Bash scripts
- Experience with the IAVM process including STIGs and patch compliance
- Familiarity with DISA hardening standards including STIGs and CTOs
- Experience maintaining asset tracking databases and developing SOPs
- Ability to support equipment procurement and coordinate shipping to remote teams
Desired Skills:
- Automation experience using Ansible playbooks
- Experience with endpoint security tools and solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-based environment
