Senior Cloud Architect/Azure/DevOps-Active Secret Clearance

Oteemo is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator and DevSecOps Architect, to join our team of hands-on engineering consultants, to support our customers development, test, and production environments. This role is for an experienced Platform and Infrastructure Architect and Solutioneer, capable of identifying and implementing end-to-end solutions for a large and complex system of systems across both cloud and hybrid on-premise environments. This role will function as a subject matter expert for the customer, and lead a small team of Cloud Engineers, to identify, propose, develop, and implement infrastructure and platform solutions., * Drive: Passion and energy to implement quality technical solutions. Candidates should have experience designing large system solutions, and communicating and advocating their designs effective with C-Suite leaders and non-technical staff. They should also have experience as a team lead or with managing a small team of engineers.

Work also includes system administration, networking, CI/CD pipeline administration in Gitlab, pipeline and security tooling, vulnerability assessments and scanning, Kubernetes Cluster Administration (AKS and on-prem K8S), testing infrastructure, building machine and container images, and upgrades and maintenance of system infrastructure and tooling., * Candidate must have 8 years of experience as a systems administrator in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux

• At least one year of experience leading a team of engineers

• Experience building and delivering engineering presentations for C-Suite leaders and non-technical audiences

• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, EKS, RKE2, K3D, OpenShift, etc.), with AKS preferred

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and Linux administration.

• Experience building and deploying container images in Docker/Podman/Helm preferred

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Terraform preferred)

• Experience with BASH scripting for automation or similar

• Experience with Python scripting for automation or similar

• Hands-on experience automating Development and Infrastructure tasking

• Hand-on experience with service catalogue self-service automation preferred

• Hands-on experience implementing and integrating security tooling into the operational stack.

• Experience using AI for automation preferred

Must have one of the following certifications

• Security+ CE

• CySA+

• GSEC

• CCNA Security

Preferred for candidates to also have the following or can complete one of these certification once hired by Oteemo.

• Provide proof of completing a training or course in one of the following areas

• Linux+

• RedHat

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
