Technical Skills Breakdown Required Skills (Must Have) Strong Python Proficiency: Ability to write clean, maintainable test actions, libraries, and infrastructure code. Device UI Automation: Deep experience with UI Automator, Appium, or similar frameworks for simulating user interactions. Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) & Robotics Automation: Experience controlling physical hardware (e.g., robotic arms, linear gantries, motion controllers) via code to interact with physical systems. Computer Vision (CV) & OCR Automation: Practical experience using camera feeds and Vision APIs/OCR to navigate sealed or non-instrumented UIs via coordinate-based actions and visual anchor detection. End-to-End Test Frameworks: Proficiency with multi-device or embedded testing frameworks (e.g., Mobly, PyTest). Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Automotive/Wireless Connectivity: Understanding of Android Auto, Bluetooth protocols, or Projection technologies. Algorithm & Pathing Logic: Familiarity with AI detectors for automating complex UI navigation flows.
