Job description
We are seeking an SAP Business Analyst Logistics to join our SAP team, helping us translate business needs into effective SAP functionalities. In this role you will act as the key liaison between Business Process Engineers, Logistics business stakeholders, and IT. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal setup, configuration, and support of SAP Logistics processes, aligning system capabilities with business requirements and strategic objectives., * Analyze and understand business processes in Logistics and gather detailed business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Fi/Co, Procurement, SD, PP, etc.), Process Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to understand application requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support the preparation of Business Cases, feasibility studies, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and effort estimates for business requests, system changes, and projects.
- Configure and customize SAP MM and EWM module in line with business process needs, requirements specifications and according to SAP standards, and best practices.
- Perform functional testing of SAP configurations to ensure requirements are met and solutions operate effectively.
- Support colleagues and end-users during testing phases for systems and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to approve releases into quality and production environments.
- Define acceptance criteria in partnership with Business and other SAP Analysts.
- Document system functionalities, create user manuals, and develop training materials.
- Organize and conduct end-user training sessions in collaboration with Key Users and Process Engineers.
- Lead and contribute to SAP implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate jointly with user representatives, implementation partners, and IT staff within project teams.
- Support change management activities and assisting business stakeholders during system deployments.
- Provide ongoing application support to users, key users, and Subject Matter Experts in accordance with our Service Desk processes.
Requirements
We are open to hiring this position in Stuttgart (Germany) or in our Polish locations in Czechowice and Warsaw. Therefore, applicants must be based in one of these locations or demonstrate a willingness to relocate., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst or Consultant with a focus on SAP EWM and MM.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Logistics functionalities including Warehouse Structure set-up and configuration, advanced warehouse management processes in EWM, shipping processes and integration with Production Planning.
- Experience in Material Flow Systems (MFS) to bridge the gap between IT, Logistics, and our automated warehouse is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the integration points between SAP Logistics modules and other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and FI/CO.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Deep understanding of industrial and commercial business processes, specifically in a Business Analyst role in Logistics.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities independently, coordinating projects, and providing clear status and progress updates.
- Interest in supporting an international community and working effectively in remote or hybrid environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
