Site Reliability Engineering Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you drive reliability and operational excellence for enterprise platforms across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. You will lead major incident responses, advance automation, and standardize observability, working with cross-functional teams to raise service resilience. You’ll mentor SREs and contribute to enterprise reliability frameworks, shaping how our platforms scale and perform. This is a chance to influence critical systems in a regulated financial services context and to lead transformative SRE initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Lead major and high-severity incident responses and drive problem management to resolution * Architect and implement automated, scalable, and reliable software solutions * Standardize incident playbooks, escalation paths, and communication frameworks * Develop and promote runbooks and automated recovery patterns * Enhance observability via telemetry, dashboards, and KPIs across logs, metrics, and traces * Coach and mentor SREs; lead knowledge sharing and design reviews * Collaborate with Delivery, Architecture, Security, and Risk to embed reliability in design * Contribute to enterprise SRE frameworks, templates, and maturity models * Guide cross-team technical work to deliver high-quality outcomes with limited supervision * Lead workshops and enablement sessions through SRE Centers of Enablement and Communities of Practice Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * 7+ years of professional software development experience * Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages and software design principles * Deep understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices Key requirements * medical, dental, vision * life insurance * 401k plan * vacation and sick days * paid holidays * disability benefits
