Experteer Overview As Hardware Operations Manager at Google, you lead a Data Center team responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server hardware and networking components. You drive secure, efficient operations for state-of-the-art data centers and partner with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals. You balance hands-on oversight with project leadership, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliable delivery under non-standard hours. You shape critical infrastructure initiatives with impact across the organization. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and prioritize team work and communicate development goals * Meet with individuals regularly to discuss performance and coaching * Partner with teams and stakeholders to meet facility and strategic goals * Maintain and execute security and operational procedures; analyze trends for improvements * Support EHS and compliance programs; investigate and report incidents * Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of server hardware and components * Lead small project teams on installations and prepare contingency plans * Coordinate network components and networking protocols in complex environments Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience * 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware * 5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams * Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends, nights, holidays, and shift-based schedules Key requirements * 15% bonus target * equity * benefits * competitive compensation * health/dental/vision
