Junior Cloud Engineer (gn)

• Collaborate with the infrastructure team on migrating workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) from on-premise or other cloud environments.
• Engage in all stages of migration projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement new projects and solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (DevOps). These projects will encompass resource governance, networking, security, scaling, load balancing, storage, backup, and virtual machines, all optimized for GCP.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive observability solutions, integrating logging, monitoring, and tracing to ensure the health and performance of GCP workloads.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data within GCP, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
• Continuously pursue training and certifications in GCP’s diverse service offerings and components, such as architecture, data and storage management, networking, and multi-cloud solutions.

• Experience in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
• Skilled in continuous integration and continuous deployment tools, environments, and team collaboration.

Highly Valued:

• Google Cloud Platform certifications and working experience with GCP/AWS/Azure

The right candidate for this role will have passion for their work, finds it easy to learn and brings experience working with infrastructure in Cloud and/or on premise environments.
