Job description
We’re looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our small central IT team supporting a growing multi-site business. This role sits between traditional service desk and operational IT support. You’ll be resolving day-to-day issues, building and deploying devices, managing user access, and helping keep our IT estate running smoothly. Most support is delivered remotely using modern tooling, with site visits only when genuinely needed.
You’ll be working closely with the Head of IT and will have real ownership of incidents from start to finish rather than simply passing tickets on.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1st line support across the business
- Troubleshooting issues remotely using our RMM platform
· Take ownership of incidents from initial report through to resolution
- Managing user accounts in Microsoft 365
- Supporting onboarding and leavers processes
- Visiting sites when remote resolution isn’t possible
- Helping improve how IT support is delivered
Requirements
- Experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Confident supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Someone who takes ownership and sees issues through to resolution
- Strong communication skills with a variety of departments and a practical mindset
- Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team
