Job description
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OpenStack to support scalable applications and services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and PowerShell scripts to automate provisioning and configuration management.
- Architect and manage containerized environments with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices frameworks to enhance deployment agility and system resilience.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs, web services, RESTful interfaces, and SaaS/PaaS solutions into our platform ecosystem.
- Optimize virtualization environments utilizing VMware, Citrix, Linux-based virtualization tools, and Windows Server platforms for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across operating systems including Linux, UNIX, Windows, and related technologies; implement proactive improvements.
- Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools to streamline software delivery processes.
- Ensure security best practices by managing VPNs, firewalls, access controls, and encryption protocols across cloud infrastructure components.

- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet; scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash (Unix shell).
- Deep understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes; containerization with Docker; microservices architecture.
- Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware; Citrix; virtualization management in Linux/Windows environments.
- Expertise in operating systems including Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS), UNIX variants, Windows Server; familiarity with operating system internals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go; experience with Java or Ruby on Rails is advantageous.
- Familiarity with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database; NoSQL solutions like MongoDB or DynamoDB preferred.
- Knowledge of web services protocols such as REST APIs; experience integrating SaaS/PaaS solutions within cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of network security practices including VPNs; experience managing firewalls and access controls for secure cloud environments.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems like Git; CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
