Job description

The role is responsible for leading the Natixis CIB London IT Production perimeter, with direct oversight of the London Infrastructure Projects and IT Support teams. The role ensures the stable, secure and efficient operation of local IT production services, in alignment with Natixis, BPCE, BPCE-IT and Head Office standards. It provides leadership, prioritisation, governance and escalation management across operational support, infrastructure delivery, change management, resilience, control execution, budget management and continuous improvement.

The job holder is expected to act as the local accountable lead for IT Production matters in London, ensuring that service quality, operational resilience, risk management, documentation and team capability remain appropriate to business needs and regulatory expectations.

What you will be doing

  • Lead, coordinate and prioritise the activities of the London IT Production perimeter, including infrastructure project delivery and IT support operations.
  • Design, support and implement appropriate change management processes in coordination with Head Office and BPCE-IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure local procedures, policies, technical documentation and operating practices remain current, complete and aligned with Head Office standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, resilience, service quality and cost effectiveness across IT equipment, infrastructure and support activities.
  • Maintain appropriate team capability through regular skills assessment, training plans, succession planning and knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate incident analysis, problem resolution, root cause investigation and escalation where required.
  • Work closely with London IT teams, European IT teams, BPCE-IT, Security and other global IT stakeholders, acting as a local centre of expertise where appropriate.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and operational resilience documentation and support testing activities in coordination with Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery stakeholders.
  • Manage the annual IT Production budget process, monthly cost control, supplier follow-up and reporting of human and technical costs.

In addition you will also be responsible for -

  • Translate Natixis, BPCE SA, BPCE Achats & Services, BPCE-IT and departmental strategies into clear priorities for the London IT Production perimeter.
  • Ensure delivery of local and Head Office initiatives, including appropriate planning, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination and progress reporting.
  • Provide leadership to the London IT Production, infrastructure project and support teams, ensuring clear roles, priorities, service standards and escalation paths.
  • Mentor, coach and develop technical support staff, including the preparation of annual and semi-annual reviews, SMART objectives and development plans.
  • Manage team rotation, E-days, shift patterns and operational coverage to maintain service continuity and appropriate segregation of duties.
  • Plan and oversee IT Production projects, including prioritisation, scheduling, resource allocation, delivery tracking and escalation of risks or dependencies.
  • Perform regular skills gap analysis and ensure appropriate training, knowledge management and resilience across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with branch Compliance, HR, IT Security, operational resilience and mandatory training requirements.
  • Define, monitor and report relevant KPIs for IT Production services, including service quality, incident management, operational risk and delivery performance.
  • Produce monthly IT Production reports, operational risk reports, roadmap updates and other management reports as required.
  • Maintain required Head Office and local documentation, including procedures, controls evidence, roadmaps, project documentation and operational resilience records.
  • Ensure the man-days tool, including ActivBPCE or any successor system, is completed accurately for the IT Production perimeter.
  • Identify, assess and escalate operational risks, control weaknesses and service vulnerabilities within the IT Production perimeter.
  • Support access reviews, role reviews and folder permission reviews in coordination with the relevant control and security teams.
  • Ensure completion of Level 1 controls in Drive or any equivalent system, with appropriate evidence, follow-up and remediation where required.
  • Oversee patch management and vulnerability assessment follow-up across production teams, in line with Head Office and IT Security requirements.
  • Prepare and manage the annual IT Production budget, supporting the Chief Information Officer and Head of Europe IT Business Management as required.
  • Manage suppliers and related costs to ensure effective service delivery, value for money, appropriate contractual follow-up and timely escalation of issues.

Requirements

* At least 10 to 15 years experience in a similar role.

  • Strong leadership capability, with experience managing technical teams, team leaders and operational priorities in a complex IT environment.
  • Ability to translate IT strategy into clear operational objectives, delivery plans and measurable outcomes for team members.
  • Strong understanding of IT production, infrastructure, end-user support, incident management, problem management, change management and operational resilience.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues logically, identify root causes and recommend practical remediation actions.
  • Ability to identify emerging risks, service issues and capacity constraints before they materialise, and to take appropriate corrective action.
  • Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users, senior management, Head Office, BPCE-IT, suppliers and control functions.
