Shape what’s next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what’s next for your engineering career., As a Network Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customers. You will play a crucial role in these work areas:
- Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity
- Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including load balancers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks
- Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
- Coordinates hardware and software acquisition
- Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
- Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Create and maintain documentation of networking processes
Requirements
Do you have experience in Network security appliance implementation?, Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Engineer must have: * Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
* Experience: 2+ years of related experience, * Experience with network and firewall solutions, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, F5, and/or Palo Alto
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
