Job description

Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Full Stack Developer (contract). In this role, you will support the modernization of internally developed business applications. This role will help transform legacy systems into scalable, web-based solutions while contributing to the design and development of modern microservices and enterprise applications. This role is hybrid in Belton, Tx, onsite once a week and remote 4 days., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern development frameworks and technologies.

Build and enhance RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservice-based architectures.
Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications that improve employee and operational workflows.
Participate in application modernization efforts, including the migration of legacy systems into scalable web-based platforms.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions.
Contribute to the consolidation of multiple applications into a unified user experience.
Create clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and services.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and release activities.
Support CI/CD processes and application deployments across development and production environments.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
Strong experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core development.
Experience building modern front-end applications using React.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
Experience with source control systems such as GitHub
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
