Job description

As an Ops Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our operational needs by analysing and reporting on business performance data. You’ll develop reports, visualisations, and presentations that turn complex data into actionable insights, helping key stakeholders make informed decisions. You’ll also:

Ø Support and grow the BI Analyst community, championing best practices and data fluency

Ø Analyse complex datasets and perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions

Ø Work with senior team members to establish and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics

Ø Design and deliver technical training for analytical tools and ways of working

Ø Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Ø Ensure data tools and reports are well-documented and accessible

Ø Manage multiple projects independently, delivering accurate and impactful results

Requirements

Ø Have experience in numerical, analytical, and problem-solving roles within a product or service-related industry

Ø Enjoy using data to drive business performance and operational improvement, Ø Degree or post-graduate qualification in a numerical/analytical subject, or equivalent business experience

Ø Proven experience in a numerical, analytical, and problem-solving role

Ø Experience with or willingness to learn coding languages such as SQL or Python

Ø Familiarity with business intelligence/data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Thoughtspot, PowerBI)

Ø Practical database skills, with a focus on data extraction and transformation

Ø Strong analytical and logical thinking skills

Ø Ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ø Organised, motivated, and adaptable to change

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams

Ø Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in data analytics and visualisation
