SAP Specialist

SAP Specialist roles of this type could involve working with businesses undergoing SAP implementation, integration or optimisation initiatives. You could find yourself supporting the deployment of SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC systems, collaborating across technical and business teams to ensure systems align with organisational needs. The work might span technical configuration, data pipeline management, process improvement and stakeholder collaboration, with potential exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions such as SAP RISE and modern architectural patterns including microservices and distributed systems., * Supporting SAP implementation or integration projects, working alongside technical architects and business stakeholders

• Contributing to system configuration, customisation and optimisation within SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments
• Assisting with data migration, data quality assurance and the design of data pipelines to support clean system deployment
• Participating in business process analysis and documentation using industry-standard approaches such as BPMN and UML
• Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, operations and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Supporting testing, quality assurance and deployment activities under recognised standards such as ISO 9001

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrable experience with SAP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP integration work
• Technical competency in at least one of the following: .NET / ASP.NET, Java / Spring Boot, Python or APIs and microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data quality principles
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code approaches such as Terraform
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
• SAP Certified Professional qualification or equivalent recognised SAP certification

Nice-to-have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and their integration with SAP solutions
• Exposure to financial analysis, process improvement methodologies or finance reporting
• Familiarity with additional tools such as Power BI for reporting or analytics
• Knowledge of security and networking concepts (F5, DMZ, CSDR)
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
