Systems Tester45,000BirminghamQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Systems Tester to join our high profile client.Our client is a well-known a global financial technology firm which specialises in the design and development of software in the Asset Management Industry.The successful Systems Tester Working in a fast-paced development environment, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Agile system testing lifecycle..The successful candidate will be serving some of the biggest name clients in the financial sector, therefore commitment and attention to detail is essential. There will be opportunities for client site visits and client engagement, hence excellent communication skills are necessary. They will have good problem-solving skills and will work in a team environment, on a wide variety of business & technical issues.Day to Day the Systems Tester will:Review and analysis of client specifications and produce quality test plansEstimation to assist with production of development proposalsTesting software in line with client specificationsPerforming solution testing to ensure system integrityServicing defect management activitiesWorking within a Scrum teamThe role requires the candidate to work independently, and is collaborative in nature. The candidate should be adept at problem solving through innovation, and have a proven track record on successfully overseeing a number of projects of differing scales. These could be personal or in business.Systems Testers must have:Commercial Software Testing ExperienceUp to 5 years’ experience in system testingQuick Learner receptive to new technologies and practices.Team player, flexible, accurate, hands-on mentality.Innovative, team-oriented problem solverThis role suits someone from a software Development or testing background that is looking to take on serious responsibility.
