Job description

  • Monitor and analyse data quality across key business systems.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring processes.
  • Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Produce and maintain data quality dashboards, reports, and exception logs.
  • Support the development of data quality standards, procedures, and guidance.
  • Contribute to data governance activities and forums.
  • Promote data quality awareness and best practice across the organisation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support continuous improvement in data management.

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including analysis, validation, reconciliation, and quality checking.
  • Experience using SQL to extract, analyse, and validate data.
  • Knowledge of data quality principles and data governance practices.
  • Experience producing reports, dashboards, and exception logs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning and development.
